Hi Mom and Dad! Sometimes people ask how you are doing, and we as your children will tell them of the wild adventures of our two favorite people. This picture kind of sums up your experience, don't you think? It's almost like you traveled back into time armed with knowledge and experience that allows you to change the world in which you are surrounded. You have the good word of God and sturdy shoes to move you forward in the work. You have devoted hearts that show the world that there is so much more to this life experience than what they may currently know. You offer two sets of loving arms, which are ready to scoop up any needing soul and soothe like only experienced, selfless parents can. We, as your children, know that we will have to share you with the Philippines and with the missionaries whose lives you touch... for the rest of our lives. How lucky we've been to spend so much time with some of the best people God created. It's only fitting that we now share you with others who need you as desperately as we've needed you our whole lives. I love that you two are always ready for whatever adventure life throws you and have learned to laugh through the trials and the curve balls that life throws you. I'm so lucky to be a part of you, an extension of you and hopefully...someday... as wonderful as you. Last night I mispronounced a frozen yogurt flavor. I said, "I'll have Mango a-go-go." The teenager serving me started laughing and I looked at the board that listed flavors and saw the flavor that said "Go Mango Go". I just laughed and rolled my eyes at myself as I thought of my mother who ALWAYS does that without meaning to as well. Mom, I'm becoming more like you! Scary ;o) Just teasing. I love you guys and think of you each and everyday. I'm thankful for all you've taught me and instilled in me. It's what carries me through the moments of missing you and wishing I could still share day-to-day life with you. I thank the heavens for answered prayers that fulfill the needs in my life that you used to fulfill. It's just another witness of the reality that there is a higher power steering our lives. xoxoxo
