More From Duck, North Carolina: I think Sara and I would agree that many lessons were learned last weekend. We learned that if you fly across the country to stay with super organized East Coast people, you'd better make sure you have a place to stay... or else you'll be staying in your car! Everyone was actually really nice, but of course there's always "that guy" who can ruin something. We take full blame for being a little too spontaneous for the liking of "the beach house bouncer". Sigh. Oh well.
Above is a picture of our "sweet ride" that we used to haul a bunch of us around for the weekend. Sleeping in it was fun though... we rolled all the windows down and felt the nice summer breeze blow up from the shore. Looking at the picture below I realize that I shouldn't have been so shocked by the nasty food. I mean, look at the classy way they posted the menu on the outside of the establishment... cardboard and all. If that doesn't scream deep fryer then I don't know what does.
