Discovering People

I am so glad that I get the chance to meet new people weekly through my church service. It has taught me that I want to be that way forever... reaching out to discover beautiful things in others. I was able to visit a new(ish) girl, Danielle, from my ward last Thursday. I discovered that she is an amazing artist. It is her passion and her gift. She made the above drawing which I fell in love with. When I was looking at it, I couldn't help but think of the idea of perspective. This picture invites us to look outward and upward. I find when I am doing that in my own life I am a happier person. I love people who use their talents to bless our lives. There are so many hidden gems around us and so little time... we'd better get after it!
