Sparkplug turns 16 this week... 16! I have a niece that is 16! Each year she's getting closer to my 29 and holding age!!! If only I would have looked 1/10th as cute when I was her age... I love this picture because it truly shows the level of happy that she constantly exudes. One year for her birthday I gave her a birthday card with a cartoon on it... a big lady was floating to the ceiling and it said on the card "Vivian is the Sparkplug of her family". For some reason the card made us laugh and laugh and laugh... and the Sparkplug name stuck on this little niece of mine. Almost every year on her birthday I tell her about the day she was born. I was only 14 and as the youngest of the family, I yearned for younger siblings. When she was born she was like an answered prayer for me. The first time I ever held her I whispered in her ear "I'm so thankful you are here... I'm not alone anymore". And by my side she has always been... to laugh with, to cry with, to dream with. I couldn't have asked for a better niece, best friend, cheerleader, or angel in my life. I love her so much :o) So many good memories in my life include her and for that I am so eternally grateful. I'm so lucky to be related to her forever. Here's to all the upcoming double dates Sparkplug :o) Haha... gulp. You're seriously 16!?!?!THE NELSONS
