In my blogging absence, there are a few things that I have not covered. Here is a list of a few of key moments:
* I made my television debut yesterday on the semi-finals of Last Comic Standing. I was on the second row right by the camera crew. I didn't know I was airing yesterday, but I did get a text from a friend that saw me! Wahoo! I went National! Too funny
* I helped an old lady cross the street a few weeks back... poor little thing. It just broke my heart. I saw her standing in the MIDDLE of the street with groceries one minute and the next minute her feet were up in the air. I pulled off the road, jumped out of my car and ran to pull her out of a hole she had fallen backwards into. I walked her home with her heavy groceries in the 100+ heat. I was a little mad at her for going in the intense heat and for not using the crosswalk! She was really imbalanced as she was walking. She fell a second time on the way home. I cried after I left the cute grandma because I knew she was fighting to keep her independence but assistance would soon be necessary. It's a future many of us will have to contemplate. I'd better have lots of babies so someone can take care of me when I get old!
* My parents mission papers went in two weeks ago and we are just waiting on a call. I could not be happier for them! I can't wait to find out where they are going. Don't worry, that will be blog worthy.
* I watched the finale of "Farmer Wants A Wife" this week. Sparkplug (my niece) and I decided we want to rename it "White Trash Bachelor". Haha.
* I'm still obsessed with homemade frozen yogurt. Next round of experimenting with flavors is with pomegranate. Yum.
* My brother/wife/cutest nephew moved to UT. I miss them so much.
* I went to the GREATEST spin class last night... cosmic spin! We had a live DJ. They turned out the lights and our bikes had glow sticks around the pedals so all we could see were our pedals zooming in the darkness (It's like I was like I was living in the Vanilla Ice song). It was so awesome! The two teachers had strobe lights and fog on them. Hilarious! It was a lot of fun... all 1 1/2 hours of it. The teacher said "push yourself until you think you're going to barf, but try not to barf." That's always fun to hear :o)
* I fall more and more in love with my nephews and nieces everyday. They are little rays of sunshine in my life right now. We laugh endlessly and eat too much together, but oh how I will forever cherish these precious years with them. They are some of my most favorite people in the world. I don't know how I was lucky enough to be related to them.
* This weekend I am helping host a Western Murder Mystery! There will be a shootout and everything. My costume inspiration is coming from the girl from the Hillbillies (curly hair, pigtails, rope belt, red gingham shirt). Can't wait.
I'm sure I've missed a lot of news, but that's all for now... folks.
