Some people have asked me where I left my hiney... thank you for noticing, people. I still have a bit to go before I get over the RS Pres. "10" (lbs.), but I am on my way (sounds like a good excuse, right?) This little wonder (treadclimber) is one of the key elements in getting things back into perspective. Did you know that an hour spent on this little number can burn almost 1000 calories? Um, yeah... spin class hits 700 if you are lucky. It also feels really good because you take wide strides, which lenghthen your muscles while you are climbing. I like the fact that I am not jolting my joints like I do through running (although I love the runner's high). I am no expert, but I have found that a mix of kick boxing, 2 weight lifting classes a week, and a few sessions on this bad boy is just what the doctor ordered! And, of course... diet is always key as well. My new favorite guilty pleasure would be sugar free Oreo pudding pops... homemade. Pretty much they are heaven, and only 30 calories. Now if I could only cut off other desserts... I'd be golden. Baby steps... THE NELSONS
