Ode to Water and Sky

I just love water. I always have... ever since I was a little girl (this picture was taken at Anstruther, Scotland). I think I inherited the love from my mom. One of my favorite childhood pictures is me crawling around in the mud at Lake Powell when I was 6 months old in a diaper. I pretty much grew up in Lake Powell... we'd go 3 or 4 times a summer every year. We'd also go boating every weekend as a family. Maybe I love water so much because it reminds me of good family memories.
I think I love water even more than I love clouds... but I do love clouds a lot. Below is my favorite picture of the clouds that I took on my recent plane ride (sorry I keep talking about it... I think this is the last blog about the experience). This picture makes me feel like I am sitting in the heavens. Isn't it beautiful? I think I took over 20 pictures of the clouds when I was flying, but I had to erase them in order to make room for other pictures. I know you are super sad about that (wink, wink). The cloud picture taking episode was the first time Lisa saw the amount of energy I had for taking pictures. I've decided that I take pictures to fill the time when I have "down time" as I have to be going and doing all the time. I can be so fidgety and needing to be doing something productive all the time. It's a bad habit, but it keeps me going.
Random Picture: I love that I captured my foot hitting the North Sea for the first time ever. I wish I had more "first time" pictures from my life, don't you? As you can imagine, the water was very cold. This picture was taken two days before I became the crazed maniac that threw my whole body into the ice bath called the North Sea.

This was the view just in front of me as I was testing out the North Sea... brilliant, isn't it?
