Where to start...where to start. I have a whole notebook full of memories, experiences, life lessons and good friends that all evolved out of one little trip to another country. This trip was a great reminder to me that life's sweetest moments cannot be lived alone... they must be shared with others. I expected to go to Scotland and tour a few castle ruins, but I never imagined I would come home so changed. The people of Scotland are fantastic and I loved that each day brought with it many new people to meet. We spent almost every night at a different member's house. Their homes were opened to us with warm welcomes and our time spent together was filled with great laughter. I am excited to share some of these stories with you as the week progresses. Above is a picture of some of the guys we spent the week with. Joe, to the left, was our tour guide. He is HILARIOUS and made sure that our trip was everything we hoped it would be. He went above and beyond to fulfill our EVERY wish and I think we owe him a ton! Next to him is Darren. We met him at a party one night. He sure is good at the animal sign game! He's a new member and is going on a mission very soon. Next to him is Steven. We spent most of the week together and he even taught me how to surf in the North Sea. He's pretty much my favorite memory from Scotland. He was the life of the party...I can still see him playing leap frog down the street over parking cones. Next to him is Collin. I can't tell you how many laughs stemmed from this guy. He always has a grin on his face that makes you think he's up to something. I just look at him and I want to start laughing. Good times. Good times. I miss them and their friends already! Stay tuned for more pictures and stories as the days roll by. THE NELSONS
