"DON'T CONFUSE EFFORTS WITH RESULTS"
My very successful boss's dad used to say this often, making it one of his core principals to judge things by. My boss said it the other day and it got my mind churning. Do my efforts produce results? What can I do to increase the amount of positive results from my efforts. Do I ever consider the job done merely because I put effort into it, but not necessarily because the task was completed successfully/fruitfully? Hmm...
