Wow... my little camera phone doesn't take too bad of photos! This is one of many pics to come of my weekend in North Carolina at Duck Beach. I took this at Sunset Grill, where I had the MOST yummy yellow tuna sushi in the world! Someday I want to go back just to have that sushi again. Duck Beach is so amazing... it's a peninsula that sticks out so all the gigantic beach houses lining both sides of the road have direct access to the beach and some even have their own docks/piers. The beach homes are 4-5 stories and on average sleep 20-45 people. There were definitely at least 1000 people there for our gathering, including Mark Madsen... (all the guys seemed to be in awe that he was there hanging out with our crowd). I did a lot of reading on the beach/plane while in NC. I read the current book of choice, Dear John, which just happens to be set in North Carolina on the beach... how convenient!!! It's turning out to be a really good read.
