Dear Bo -
I wanted to wish you a very happy birthday to you on this important year (12) of your life! Some of my favorite things about you include:
* Laughing, laughing, laughing... and laughing some more. You have GOT to be one of the funniest people I know. (Let's go fishin'... Want some Cheetos?)
* The fact that you aren't too old or too cool to kiss your auntie still. She needs some sugar from someone!
* Your gentle way with your little siblings that are much smaller than you. You have such a kind heart and you aren't afraid to show it. I hope you never grow out of that.
* The way you always make sure your mom is taken care of, especially when she's sick. You are so good at being the man of the house when your dad is gone on business!
* Your ability to know how to work hard and the desire you have to always pitch in a helping hand when work needs to get done. Your dad has taught you how to work like this since you were just a tiny little guy!
* How excited you get to show me a new pair of "kicks" or a new shirt... always making sure that it "passes" my approval. It makes me feel special that you care about my opinion.
* Your ability to wake up cheery and FUNNY in the morning... who does that?!?!? (not me)
* The fact that you're so strong in the gospel. You love going to church and love everything the church brings into your life. You don't question, you just live it!
* I love that you are such a cool guy... and you're still really nice to everyone.
