SQUARE FOOT GARDENING (link)I am such a nerdy Nancy. When I got home late last night I watched MEL on KBYU, who taught me the basics to "smart gardening". I've never seen someone so excited about soil before! I think it's because spring is in the air and I have been bitten by the bug of sunshine, warmth and new life. I loved Mel's new system of gardening. It makes so much sense that I am dying to get my hands on a plot of land to start these cute little boxes! You can even plant flowers in some of the squares to add some color. I heard Marigold's are great to plant because they stink and the bugs don't like that so they stay out. Mel's gardening method just makes sense. It was after 10 and I was tired, but who knew a gardening show could be so informative! He's really on to something!!!
