I have been wearing headbands for a long while now. It poofs the hair just right in the back while adding a little umpf to the average outfit. So... my co-workers noticed my obsession and decided to jump on the bandwagon. Today is day 1 for Yvonne and her first headband since the 80's. One hour into the morning she was already complaining about a headband-ache. I told her that getting a strong headband head is not something that you are born with... it comes with time and great persistance. It was during this convo that we came up with a great idea. The Headband Challenge. We are both going to shop for the most uncomfortable headband we can find, switch them, and then see who can wear it the longest - day and night. The outcome will be very interesting because I have been "in training" for a good long while now, but I think her head is much smaller than mine... making for an interesting headband challenge!
