"... all hands on deck... we have Mayor Gulliani in the deodorant department!" So I went to Target yesterday after work to get some Dove Dark Chocolate Easter Eggs and I no sooner opened the door when I was in a sea of scrambling people, camera men, and cell phone photographers. As you can tell from the above photo I stooped to becoming one of the cell phone photographers. Mr. NY was in town promoting his Presidental hopefullness at the Red Rock Hotel and Casino (just up the street from the Target). It was so funny to watch people FREAK OUT and follow him all over the store as he bought batteries, deodorant, and "Remember the Titans". I just went about my business shopping while people literally tripped over each other to get to Gulliani in order to tell him that the 10th cousin of their 2nd ex-husband new a guy that brought pizza to his campaign headquarters 17 years ago. He did a good job of looking like he cared when such stories were unfolded to him. In the middle of the chaos I called my brother and said "hey I just wanted to let you know that I am shopping with Gulliani right now." He told me to yell "Mitt Romney for President!" I didn't do that, but I did manage to buy the cute choco eggs to fill my bowl on my desk at work. I do need to give a serious shout out to the way the 500 team members handled the mob. I think I saw more red shirts in one place yesterday than I hope to ever see again in my life.
