Doing Good Shouldn't Hurt

My cutest niece sparkplug (on the left), as we call her, has been on a roll regarding serving others. On Sunday she made it "Church Librarian Appreciation Day" and had everyone in the ward sign a card of thanks to the ladies in the library. She and her friends then spent the rest of the day helping out in the library. The next night she brought over candy to make a candy poster for her poor friend who has been really sick for the past year and is having surgery really soon. The next day was "Ride to School Appreciation Day". She gets picked up every morning by the same kid who takes her to seminary. She and her friends brought him a morning treat and words of thanks. As they were getting out of the truck sparkplug slipped and fell... tearing a ligament! Poor sparkplug. Of course this accident hasn't kept her from being happy and wonderful, as usual. She's at school today on crutches and I keep thinking about her... hoping she is making it through her first day on those big bulky crutches! Love you girl!
