Yesterday was like someone rewound my life and brought back all these things I haven't experienced in a while or that I have been looking for. I guess it started with me popping in my 2002 Martina McBride Cd (Emotions), which I love so much and LOVE to sing my heart out to. It's the CD I listened to on repeat the day I moved from Utah to Dirty City. Then I ran across an old friend (see below) that brings back a flood of old school memories for me. Then I got a call from Doug... the long lost friend, on my way home from work. Then, as if that wasn't enough, I found my iPod that has been missing for weeks. I am so embarrassed to say that it was connected to my car mp3 plug-in cord the whole time! It was stuck between the seats.
The craziest thing happened to me yesterday. I was trying to find a picture online and I ran into a girl's blog page that I was a EFY Counselor to in CANADA almost a decade ago. We were so close and we even share the same rare spelling of our name. She's now out of piggy tales and all grown up with a brand new baby of her own (she's 23). Her blog page was the CUTEST/ FUNNIEST thing I have ever seen! (I am going to track down a pic of she and I and send it to her along with a "how's the past decade of your life been" email) It has lit a fire under me to get better about my blog, especially in the sharing pics dept. So... for all of those who hate me and my camera, watch out! Here I come! And all of you who look but don't comment, I hope my increased blogging dedication will bring out the comments in you sneakies!
So today I thought I would share a few of my favorite outdoor pictures that I took this fall in St. George (with the then brand new camera that I just completely love - Canon S3). This is my attempt at being a super pro behind the camera. I know I have a long way to go (especially in the photo editing dept - but this year is the year I expand this horizon). So How bad is this for beginner's luck? Take a peek:
