It's official... I am hooked.My guilty pleasure, as my niece calls it... is the weekly sitcom,The Office. I'll give you one reason you need to watch it - the character Dwight Schrute. He's so paranoid and his co-workers are constantly playing tricks on him. He is the office kiss-up and know-it-all. We've all known someone like him, so I guess that's where a great part of this sitcom's humor is founded. There are many times during my work day that I actually feel like I my life has morphed into an episode of The Office. It makes my day so much more funny!
Also, I found that they have posted iTunes celebrity playlists for all of the main characters on The Office. Dwight's playlist is entitled "Twelve Songs that Inspire and Motivate Me". Hilarious! When I saw that one of the songs is "Battlestar Galactica", I almost lost it (he's always talking about the show). He also loves "All Out of Love" by Air Supply. It Figures.
Lastly, when things get really messed up, the Office people call it "Schruted". I am hoping to work this into a conversation or two this weekend. We'll see how it goes.
